   Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

       GAIL MARIE SHERMAN

Died July 3, 2025-age 61, after a massive brain hemorrhage on June 30, 2025.
Born March 15, 1964, daughter of Phillip & Barbara Teichmann.
Survived by her husband of 35 years Scott Thomas Sherman, son Anthony "Tony" 
Wayne Sherman, sister,Jennifer Teichmann, grandson Royale "Roy" Anthony Cruz 
Sherman, granddaughters Rosalie Reign Sherman & Rozlynn Jazmine Sherman.
Aunt & Uncle Arlene "Beaver" Sandborn & William "Bill" Sandborn & several 
cousins.
Gail loved her pets, especially her cats, dogs, turtles & Marty, her yellow Nape 
Amazon Parrot.
She had rabbits she would breed & show at the Ionia Free Fair, where she would 
camp out for the week, taking her grandchildren & spending hours in the Miracle 
of Life Exhibit.
She enjoyed vacationing in Mackinac City & visiting the Island. 
She had a love for Elvis Presley's movies & music & the Elvis Tribute Artist.
Gails's first job was at Burger King where she met her eventual husband Scott.
She worked 25 years at Meijers.
Gail recently became an organ donor through The Gift of Life of Michigan.
Preceded in death by her parents, Phillip & Barbara Teichmann; in-laws, Richard 
& Violet Sherman; and brother, Steven Teichmann.
Cremation has taken place & a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
