The Ionia Standard, Friday, March 19, 1897
Mrs. Martha A. Sherman, died at the home of her son, James M. Sherman, on East 
Lincoln avenue, Saturday evening at age of 72.  Funeral at residence on 
Tuesday; interment in East Plains cemetery.
