Jason Donovan Sherrick, age 34, of Ionia, passed away September 26, 2014.  He 
was born May 12, 1980 in Grand Rapids the son of Donovan and Kim (Rendall) 
Sherrick. 

Jason graduated from Ionia High School.  He loved fishing, playing poker and 
fantasy football.  Jason loved sports.  He was a big Michigan State Spartans 
and Detroit Lions fan.  Jason had many friends and he loved spending time with 
them but what Jason enjoyed most was spending time with his son. 

Jason is survived by his son, Alexander Sherrick of Ionia; parents, Donovan 
Sherrick of Greenville and Kim Sherrick (W.J. King) of Ionia; brothers, Andrew 
Sherrick of Greenville and Nick Rendall of Ionia; grandfather, Donovan W. 
Sherrick of Greenville; grandmother, Darlene Wirtz of Ionia and many aunts, 
uncles, and cousins.   He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard 
Rendall and Frank Wirtz; grandmother, Nancy Sherrick and aunt, Patricia Rendall-
Walker. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 1, 11 a.m. at Lake Funeral 
Home in Ionia with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating.  Visitation will be on 
Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those wishing may make 
contributions to his family.
