Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Oct. 24, 1947

Funeral services were held from William J. Sherwood of Belding Wednesday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock with Elder J. Charles Mottashed officiating. Immediately 
following the service his son, William, Jr. and wife left with the body for 
Reading, Pa., where services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. from the Theodore 
Auman funeral home . He will be interred in Lauderdale cemetery beside his 
wife, Bertha, who passed away 10 years ago.
