Mrs. Lillie C. Shetterly of Lake Odessa, 84, died Wednesday night at the home 
of her son, Dale of Route 2, after a long illness.  She had been seriously ill 
for the past seven weeks.

She was born June 7, 1870, in Orange township, the daughter of Robert and Emma 
Rowe.  Mrs. Shetterly has been a resident of the Lake Odessa area for the past 
62 years having lived in the farm now occupied by her son, Dale, before moving 
to town 23 years ago.

February 3, 1892, she was married to Orza Shetterly.  He died September 6, 1953.

Surviving besides her son are one daughter, Mrs. Clifton (Gladys) Cook of Lake 
Odessa, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Pickens funeral chapel where services will be held Saturday 
at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. A. J. Pitman officiating.  Burial will be in 
Lakeside cemetery.
