Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday June 17,1954

LILLIE SHETTERLY DIED WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Lillie Shetterly, 84, passed away, last night, Wednesday, June 16. She had 
been ill for some time and seriously ill since March 28. For the past seven 
weeks she had been cared for at the home of her son, Dale Shetterly.

Mrs. Shetterly was born Lillie Rowe in Orange township,Ionia County. She married 
O.B. Shetterly on February 3, 1892, and they moved to the farm now occupied by 
her son Dale and his family. Twenty three years ago Mr.and Mrs. Ozra B.Shetterly 
moved to their home in Lake Odessa on Fourth Avenue. O.B.Shetterly passed away 
last September.

Mrs. Shetterly is survived by her son Dale, and her daughter Mrs. Clifton Cook, 
9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Pickens 
Funeral Chapel.
