DONALD A (PETE) SHIER,
Donald A. (Pete) Shier, age 82 passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 14, 
2016. Surviving are his wife Carol Shier of 60 years, four daughters, Terri (Pat) 
Peterson, Laurie (Kim) Patrick, Quinn (Peter) Meade and Shalyn Ralston; 9 
grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

The family will be accepting family and friends Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 
1 PM to 4 PM. at the First Presbyterian Church at 125 E. Main St., Ionia. A 
memorial service will be held at a later date.
