Ionia Standard - Fri. Feb. 10, 1893

Mrs. Adaline Shilton died Tuesday night at the residence of her nephew, Charles 
Lovrein, East Main Street. She was born in New Hampshire and was 74 years of 
age. She was married to Amos Blood, who died in California in 1848. Mrs. Blood 
came to Ionia in 1854, and was for many years a teacher in the public schools, 
and known to all our citizens of that period. She was married to Benj. Shilton, 
of Orange, in 1876, who died about six years ago. Funeral at 2 p.m. tomorrow 
from M.E. church.
