Shinabarger, 60, died suddenly Sunday morning of a heart attack at the home of his daughter, Miss Nettie Shinabarger, at 2693 Long Lake Rd. Orleans Township. He was born in Carson City on April 2, 1891. He lived for many years in Flint where he was a general foreman at the Buick Plant and lived in Tower,Mich., where he operated a grocery. His wife Anna, who he married in 1916, died several years ago. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs.Margie Cocke and Mrs.Arthur Eddy of Flint, Mrs.Archie Powell of Lake, Mrs. Howard Seeley of Lake City, Mrs. Albert LaPeer of Alton, and Miss Nettie Shinabarger of Orleans, seven sons, Eugene of Ovid, Ray of Mt.Rose, Glenn of Davison, and Dalbert, George, Robert and James all of Flint, one sister, Mrs.Margaret Griswold of Carson City; one brother, Carl of Big Rapids; 48 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The remains were at Huffman Funeral Home here until 1 p.m. Monday.From there they were taken to Walsh Funeral Home in Indian River where funeral services were held yesterday at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in Silver Lake Cemetery, Wolverine.
