The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, June 20, 1961
Mrs. Nina May Shinabarger, 67, of Lowell, a former Ionia resident, died Monday 
evening in Osteopathic hospital, Grand Rapids, following a short illness.  She 
was born April 22, 1894 at Crystal, and was married June 7, 1914 in Gratiot 
County to Ford Shinabarger who survives.

Other survivors include four daughters, Lillian P. Shinabarger of Grand 
rapids, Mrs. Marjorie Miller of Belding, Mrs. Carl Eggbloom of Albion, Idaho, 
and Gloria Jean Shinabarger of Lowell; a son, Gerald Shinabarger of Ionia; 13 
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Zerba of New 
Haven, and Mrs. Emma Bloss of Perrinton, and a brother, Russell Youngs of 
Middleton.

Funeral service will be conducted at Myers funeral home Thursday at 1 p.m. by 
the Rev. Roy Miller of Gowen.  Interment will be at New Haven cemetery in 
Gratiot County.
