Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Jul 1972

Three-weeks old Christopher Shinaver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Shinaver of 
1136 West Grand River, Portland, died Wednesday morning at Blodgett Memorial 
hospital in Grand Rapids.

Surviving besides the parents are two brothers, John and Michael at home; 
grandmothers, Mrs. Reva Bell of Lyons; Mrs. Phyllis Ward of Woodland; great 
grandmothers, Mrs. Pauline Hoppes of Portland, Mrs. Mary Shinaver of Lansing 
and Mrs. Ruth Tracy of Bay City.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick church in Portland.  
Interment will be at Portland cemetery.  Christopher will be at the Neller 
funeral home in Portland until time for services.
