The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 10, 1930

Mrs. Leo Shindorf, 41, of Belding died in Blodgett hospital, Grand Rapids, the 
last of the week after a brief illness.  The funeral services were held in St. 
Joseph church, Belding, Saturday morning and interment took place in Belding.  
She leaves her husband and 13 children, the children ranging from 13 months to 
18 years; her mother, Mrs. Mary Engemann; six brothers, Frank, Ed, Peter, 
Hubert, and Martin Engeman, of Belding, and George, of Kalamazoo, and a 
sister, Mrs. Lucy Byrne, of Belding.
