Mrs. Shindorf’s maiden name was Rose Kessler, a daughter of Will Kessler, pioneer Miriam farmer. She married Peter Shindorf and to this union were born three children: George, aged 7 years, Mary aged 3 years, and Joseph, aged 18 months, who with the father survive. Funeral services were held from St. Mary Catholic church, Miriam, where she had worshipped as a girl and young woman and where she had been married, on Tuesday morning, at nine o’clock, Rev. Fr. Joseph A. Maier officiating and burial was made in St. Mary cemetery. In addition to the husband and the children, Mrs. Shindorf is survived by her father, Will Kessler, three brothers, Louis, of Greenville, Ohio; and Frank and Albert, of Muskegon, also by three sister, Mrs. Mat Breuer, of Evart and Mrs. Ben Shindorf and Mrs. Theodore Scheidt, of the Miriam district. Mrs. Shindorf was a good wife and mother and a neighbor of high esteem and character.
