She was married there to Henry Shindorf May 14th, 1878. They came to Saranac and lived there one year, then removed to Belding where they have continued to reside since. Her death resulted from a cancer from which she had been a sufferer for about two years, and took place at Mr. Shindorf’s sister’s home Mrs. Chas. Huffman in Grand Rapids July 4th. The funeral was held from the late residence in this city last Saturday morning, Rev. Father Aner of Portland, officiating, interment in the Belding Catholic cemetery. She leaves a husband, and seven children, five boys and two girls. She also leaves six brothers and two sisters, all of whom were present at the funeral. They are Jacob Brown, Toldeo, O.; Fred, Winamac, Ind.; Peter and John, Wright, Ottawa Co., Anthony, Huron Co., O.; Frank, of this city; Elizabeth Westrick, Norwalk, O.; Margaret Burciell, Peru, O.
