                               J.WESLEY SHIPPEE

Funeral Services for J.Wesley Shippee, 78, of 8977 N.Canfield Road, were held 
Saturday, June 26 at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Ross Tracy officiated at the services that 
were held at Huffman Funeral Home. Burial was in River Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Fred Bishop, R.Edward Biship, Ted Whitford, Gerald Whitford, 
Wayne Brink and Kenneth Barber.

Mr.Shippee was born May 1, 1893 in Edmore, the so  of Oscar and Adeline Bain 
Shippee, He and Altheda V. Whitford were married September 13, 1913 in Ionia, 
Mrs.Shippee died in 1970.

Mr.Shippee, who had retired from the Gibson stock department, died Thursday, 
June 24 after a three-day stay in Belding Community Hospital.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
