The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Saturday, April 19, 1919

George Shively, of Grand Rapids, an old Ionia resident, died at his home 
there, 737 Prince street, at the age of 62 years.  He is survived by the widow 
and one daughter, Ione.  The funeral will be private and held from the 
residence Monday morning at 11.  Interment in Oak Hill cemetery, Grand 
Rapids.  Mr. Shively was a Pere Marquette engineer when he resided here and 
has been away from Ionia for a number of years.  He is a cousin of Fred 
Cutler, George Lauster and others here and will be well remembered.
