Shoen, aged 31, died at his home in South Ionia this morning at 4 o’clock. Services will be held at the house Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Rev. M. L. Marshall will officiate. Burial in East Plains cemetery, near Matherton. He leaves a wife, Nora Shoen of Ionia; mother, Mrs. Harriet Shoen of Matherton; brother, Fred, of Ionia; Clifford, of Lake Odessa; Vern, of Matherton; Guy of Carson City, and a sister, Mrs. Edna Evans of Ionia. He was employed at the Hayes and belonged to the Oddfellows and Masons of this city. Mr. Shoen was well and favorably known in Ionia and died after an illness of four days of pneumonia.
