Ilura (Dorothy) M. Shoen, 79, of Lyons died Sept. 17, 1995.  She was born June
10, 1916 in Butternut, the daughter of Emmanuel and Alma (Badder) Whitman.  She
attended Butternut schools and was married to Donald Shoen on May 5, 1952.  She
was employed at the Clark Manufacturing Plant in Lyons and lived in the
Lyons-Muir area for more than 40 years.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; daughters: Mrs. Lois J. Armstrong, of
Detroit, and Miss Teri Rae Shoen, of Ionia; four grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death
by one brother, one sister and her parents.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir
with burial in the Lyons Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m.
and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday at the chapel.
