Mary E. Shook, age 84, passed away Wed., July 6, 2005.

She was born Sept. 8, 1920, in Montcalm County, the daughter of Robert and 
Goldie (Badder) Lynn.  Mary and her husband farmed in the Ionia area for many 
years.  She was a member of West Berlin Wesleyan Church.  She was preceded in 
death by her parents and by her husband Ray W. Shook on Sept. 20, 1989.

Surviving are her children, Linda Jeffries of Upland, Ind., and Lynn Shook of 
Ionia; granddaughters, Carrie and Erica Jeffries; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Mark Lipscomb, pastor of West Berlin 
Wesleyan Church, at 11 a.m., Saturday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 
Rich St., Ionia.    Interment will follow at Balcom Cemetery in Ionia.  The 
family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 
p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday.
