Orange Resident Dies Tuesday Eve.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 for Elmer M. Shook, 64, who died 
at his home in Orange township Tuesday night, October 5, following two years of 
poor health due to arthritis.  Burial will be in Balcolm cemetery.

He was born in Lockport, N. Y., in 1873, the son of Alexander T. and Mary A. 
Shook and came here with his parents when he was but eight years old, and has 
lived in Orange and the vicinity ever since.  He was married to Ida Houghton, 
of Orange, thirty-four years ago. 

Surviving are his wife, Ida, a son, Roy, of Orange; a brother, John Shook, also 
of Orange, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Holcomb, of Ionia.
