April 28, 1976 LLOYD G. SHOOK Lake Odessa - Lloyd G. Shook, 72, of Bippley road, died Tuesday evening at Pennock hospital in Hastings after an extended illness. He was born in Shelby, Iowa, June 30, 1903, the son of Frank and Mary Brown Shook. He married Margaret Haudrich of South Sioux City, Neb. December 18, 1925. They moved to the Lake Odessa area in 1946. He was a farmer until he retired in 1967. Following his retirement he worked at the Bergy Brothers Elevator in Alto for two years as a fieldman. He was a member of the St. Edwards Catholic church in Lake Odessa and a member of the Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife,Margaret; two sons, Harold of Woodland and Donald of Vermontville; three daughters, Mrs. Ardith Hart, Mrs. Audrey Burdicks of Hastings, and Mrs. Ann Booher of Lake Odessa; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth DeVries, Mrs. Martha Sleesman, and Mrs. Florence Owen of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Thomas of South Sioux City, Neb., and Frank of Grand Rapids. The body is at the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel in lake Odessa church in lake Odessa. father Charles Dautremont will officiate. Burial will be at Lakeside cemetery.
