Belding, April 7 – Mrs. Fannie M. Shores, aged 70, died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Ora Cahoon Monday night.  She had been a resident of Belding 
about 25 years coming here from Lowell where she was born.

Besides Mrs. Cahoon, she leaves three other daughters, Mrs. Bessie Wisler and 
Mrs. Caroll Ring of Lansing and Mrs. Carl Wilson of Evart, one son, William 
Shores of Saginaw, three sisters and two brothers also survive:  Mrs. Eva 
Walters of Lowell, Mrs. Mary Traleton of Emmett, Idaho, and Mrs. Katherine 
Hoxie of Belding, Fred Hastings of Wendall, Ia., and Louis Hastings of 
Minneapolis, Minn.

Funeral services will be held at the Fitzjohns funeral home Thursday at 2 pm 
with burial in Otisco cemetery.
