Belding Banner - Wed. May 20, 1914

The death of J.C. Shores occurred at his home on Pine Street, Wednesday 
morning, May 13th, after an illness of about a year and a half.

Funeral services were held from the house Friday at 2 o’clock conducted by Rev. 
Doty, Mrs. Abbie Williams singing. 

Interment was made in the Otisco cemetery.

Mr. Shores is survived by a wife and five children, Mrs. C.H. Wilson of Evart, 
Mrs. J. Wiesler of Grand Rapids, Wm. T. Mabel and Mildred of this city.

We wish to thank our friends and neighbors for the kindness rendered us during 
the sickness and death of our husband and father and also for the beautiful 
flowers.
