          RITES IN LANSING FOR MARY E. SHORT
   Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Short, 72, of Lansing were held Thursday
afternoon at 2:30 at Gorsline-
Runciamn Funeral Home, with burial Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.  Mrs. Short
passed away Monday 
following a long illness.
   She was a resident of Lansing for 48 years, and was employed at Fisher Body for
36 years, retiring 12 years 
ago.
   Surviving are her husband, Terrence (Ted) and a brother, Ernest Wood.
   Ted is the son  of the late Frank and Laura Short an a brother and Ruth Tasker,
Thelma Gilliland and Richard 
Short and a brother-in-law of Evelyn Short, local.
