Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday August 17, 1944

FRANK SHORT DIES AFTER 50 YRS.IN TWP.

Frank Short, 74, died Friday at his farm home southwest of Lake Odessa. He was 
born in Eaton county near Charlotte and married Miss Laura Tischer at Nashville 
April 28, 1892.

He had lived all of his married life on the same farm in Odessa. Besides the 
widow he leaves two daughters, Thelma in Lansing, and Mrs.Ruth Tasker in Lake 
Odessa; two sons, Richard at home and Terrence in Lansing, and one grandchild.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the home with the Rev. Harley V. 
Townsend of Woodland, officiating and burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
