Ionia Standard, 30 Aug 1889

Cora E., wife of Wm. F. short, died at her residence on Jefferson street on
Sunday morning, after a lingering illness, of tonsilitic consumption – aged 28
years.  Funeral services at the Episcopal church, on Tuesday morning, from
whence she was conveyed to Oak Hill cemetery, her last earthly resting place.
