He died at his home on 439 King street. He was born in Nottawa, December 22, 1855, the son of Stephen and Delia Showerman. In 1895, he was married to Anna Dottmann, who survives him. He has been a resident of Ionia for the past 50 years. He was employed 18 years with the old wagon works and spent 16 years working for the Stafford corporation. Surviving him are his wife, a sister, Mrs. Nettie Thoms, of Greenville, and four nephews. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Burial will be in Easton cemetery. -------- Funeral services for Seymour Showerman, who died at his home on King street Tuesday were held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from the Myers funeral home. Rev. F.G. Dunbar officiated and burial was in Balcom cemetery. Pallbearers were George Humphreys, John Klink, Harold Wilder, and Archie Boltz.
