                        Marian Irene Showers

Marian Irene Showers, 74, of Cutlerville and formerly of Ionia, a loving mother, 
grandmother and sister, passed away on Sunday June 6, 2010.

She was born on Aug. 23, 1935 in Belding the daughter of Charles and Gladys 
(Jew) Mason. Mrs.Showers loved her plants, birds and cat and loved going for 
rides. She loved listening to music and doing crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan Showers; sisters, Nancy 
McCall and Ilah Haysmer; brothers, Alfred, Thomas, and Bob Mason, and Herb 
Haysmer.

Surviving are her children, Nancy (John) Gipson of Grandville, Johnny Smejkal of 
Cutlerville, Tramma (Ken) Kaggs of Sheridan, and Kenneth Austin of Grand Rapids; 
14 l;several great-grandchildren; siblings, Janette Phillips. Dorman (Charlene) 
Mason, and Gerald Mason; several nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday,June 10, 2010, at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, 220 Rich St.,Ionia. Interment will take place at 
Balcom Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs.Showers may be made to
