   Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

       Katherine Showers

Died Friday October 27, 1944-age 82 at daughter's home in Fenwick.
She was a resident of Belding for 40 years & a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughter Mrs.Asher Lathrope, a son Elmer of Ionia and two 
grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 2 on Sunday at the Fitzjohn Funeral Home in 
Belding.
Burial will be in St.Louis cemetery.
