Shrum Died Wed.November 11, 1987-age 66 of Sheridan. Born November 21, 1920 in Missouri, son of Joseph & Mary Shrum. Retired from Detroit as a roofer. Lived in Sheridan area since 1980. U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Member of Lester J. Sitts VFW Post 5065 & Shiloh Community Church. Married Former Elwanda Bernard on December 24, 1942.She survives. Also surviving are a son & his wife, Robert J & Elke Shrum, West.Bloomfield; three daughters & their husbands, Linda Gail& Henry Jaegers, Greenville, Karen & Seyed Bakhshandeh, Thousand Oakes, Calif., Nancy & Jamie Gill, Troy; and eight grandchildren. Other survivors are four sisters, Mrs.Nellie Land, Mrs.Nettie Matthews, Mrs. Lela Mitchell, all of Missouri, Mrs.Mary Fiscante, Royal Oak; three brothers, Ralph Shrum of Melvin, Carl Shrum, Livonia, George Shrum, Clausen. Funeral services are at.11 am. Saturday at Stebbins & Simpson Funeral Home, Sheridan. Conducted by Rev. Kenneth Harger with military services by VFW Post 5065. Interment at Sunny Hill Cemetery.
