Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 18 Sep 1953

Mrs. Eva May Shuart, 82, died Thursday, Sept. 17 at 3:45 p.m. at the home of 
Mrs. E. G. York.  A former resident of Portland she had spent two years at Lake 
Worth, Florida before coming here 12 weeks before to the home of Mrs. York.  
She was born October 5, 1871 in Ohio.

Surviving her is her sister-in-law, Mrs. Stella Shuart, who had been with her 
at the E.G. York home.  Her husband, D. D. Shuart, died in 1931.

The body is at the Pickens funeral chapel where services will be held Saturday, 
Sept. 19 at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Portland cemetery with the Rev. A. J. 
Pitman of the Congregational church officiating.
