There was a profusion of flowers, thirty-five or forty pieces and bouquets being sent. The pallbearers were John and James Shumway, Lee Alvord, Earl Christian, Geo. Coe and Frank Perrett. Rev. E. E. Branch preached a splendid tribute to the memory of Mrs. Shumway. The music was by Mrs. Henry Robertson, Mrs. Will Peck, and Miss Greta Brooks at the piano. There were present from away Mr. and Mrs. John Shumway, Mr. and Mrs. James Shumway and families from Detroit, J. Ingraham and Mr. and Mrs. Alf. Parker, Mrs. Fuller, Miss Bonnie Fuller, Miss Gussie Snyder, of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. George Coe and George Coe, Jr., of Berlin, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Perrett of Orange. George Co, Jr., represented the fourth generation. Burial was in Highland Park cemetery.
