Nancy Rebecca Shupp, 80, died at her home north of Lake Odessa on Monday at 4 
o’clock after several weeks of illness.

She was born Nancy Rebecca Brock in Tiffin, O., and in 1878 was married to 
Thomas Shupp.  In 1879 they came to Michigan where they settled in Odessa 
Township, and where she has since made her home.  Mr. Shupp died in 1913.  
Nancy Shupp was a member of the Central Methodist Church and South Berlin aid.

Surviving are three sons at home, Milton, Elton and Chauncey and a son, Vern 
at Lake Odessa, three daughters, Mrs. Edna Winey, Mrs. Alice Haskins, and Mrs. 
Pearl Carter of Odessa; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the Central Methodist church at Lake Odessa 
Thursday at 2 o’clock with Rev. Leon W. Manning, resident pastor, officiating.
