Ionia County News - Thurs. March 12, 1959

Mrs. Jessie Shurte, 73, of 210 South Pleasant Street, Belding, died Tuesday, 
March 3 at her home.

Mrs. Shurte had been a resident of Belding for 35 years.

Surviving are her husband, Fred; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Nelson of Greenville; a 
son, Louis Hewitt of Belding; a brother and three grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Friday march 6, at the Fitzjohn Funeral Home in Belding 
with the Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating. Interment was in Otisco Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Johnson Sr., Glen Tuefel, Fred Johnson, Joseph West, 
Donald Taylor and Raymond Petersen.
