The Ionia Standard, Friday, May 3, 1895

Alonzo D. Shute was found dead in bed, Friday a.m., at the residence of his 
brother Albert in Orange.  Heart disease is given as the cause of his sudden 
demise.  He has been complaining some, but was about as usual the day before 
his death.  He leaves one son.  His age was 58.  Funeral at the Orange brick 
church, at 2 p.m., Saturday.
