Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 26 Feb 1957

Mrs. Mary Shute, 84, died Monday evening at Sinai hospital in Detroit.  A former
resident of Ionia county, she went to Detroit a short time ago, to reside with
her son, Lloyd of Detroit, following the death of her husband, July 26, 1956. 
At the time of his death they were residing in Orange township, Ionia county. 
Mrs. Shute had been ill for the past six months.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers
funeral home.  Interment will be in Tuttle cemetery.
