Ionia Shopper's Guide - Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011

Betty Ann Sible, 78, of Ionia, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011.

She was born May 5, 1933 in Ypsilanti, the daughter of Edmond and Nellie Mae Frances

(Beckett) Gooding. She married Richard G. Sible December 9, 1949.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Gordon Sible Sr.; and sister

Jackie. Surviving are her children, Gail (Keith) Simmons; son Jerry Sible, Sr.; 
daughter Judy Gloden; daughter-in-law Teri (Jeff) Livermore; ten grandchildren; 
nineteen great grandchildren; step-mother Hazel Gooding; sister Janet Brown; and 
brother Edmond Gooding, Jr.
Visitation with the family was Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Koops Funeral Chapel, 
lake Odessa. Funeral Services were conducted on Sunday at the Saranac Community 
Church, 125 South Bridge Street, Saranac. Interment at Balcom Cemetery, Ionia

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Saranac Food 
Pantry, American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Spectrum 
Hospice, or the Charity of one's choice.
