The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, August 21, 1942
Word has been received of the death in Everett, Washington, of Fred C. Sibley, 
75, a brother-in-law of Mrs. Frances Sibley of Ionia.

He was a son of Frank C. and Annie Bell Sibley, and was born in Ionia March 
28, 1867.  He left Ionia before the turn of the century to take up his 
residence in Everett, where he has since resided.

Surviving him are his wife, who was Laura Tompkins of Ionia, and a daughter, 
Mrs. Frances Kennedy.

While a resident of Ionia he worked for the Sentinel for a number of years, 
and continued his newspaper work after he moved to the western state.
