The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, July 6, 1940

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock for Miss Nell 
Yates Sibley from the home of Mrs. A. B. Sibley, 315 Rich street.  Services 
were conducted by Rev. Donald Guy of Hastings Episcopal church.  

Bearers were Austin Barnes, Burton B. Sibley, Alexander W. Sibley, and Fred C. 
Sibley.  Floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. Max Webber and Mrs. K. R. 
Smith.

Out-of-town relatives attending the funeral were Mrs. R. L. Barnes of 
Birmingham, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Barnes of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Elton Drake of 
Kalamazoo, Alexander Sibley of Kalamazoo, Fred Sibley, Mrs. Joseph Heald, Miss 
Josie Kelsey and Mrs. William Wilson, all of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Charles 
Jennings and Mrs. Robert Townsend of Charlotte, Mrs. Julia Yeager, Miss Almeda 
Niblach, Mrs. K. Kintz, Mrs. A. Watkins, Mrs. L. Hayes, Mrs. A. Holcomb and 
Miss M. Wining, all of Lapeer; Miss Katherine Whitney and Miss Edith Grieves 
of Caro.

Interment was at Highland park cemetery.
