The Ionia Standard, Friday, April 15, 1892
Helen B. wife of A. L. Sibley, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. H. H. Van 
Slyke, in Easton, this morning, of typhoid malarial fever, at the age of 34 
years.  Mrs. Sibley’s home was in Grand Rapids, where her husband is 
superintendent of the mail carrier service.  She was at her mother’s on a 
visit when taken ill.  The remains will be taken to Grand Rapids tomorrow.  A 
coincidence in the case is that Mr. and Mrs. Sibley lost a daughter, while on 
a visit to the same place, about seven years ago.
