Excerpts from Lansing Obituary

VICKI ANN SIEGRIST

Died Sunday May 7, 2023-age 69 in Grand Ledge, MI.
Born on November 10, 1953, in Carson City,MI & grew up in Hubbardston, MI.
Daughter of Lawrence & Charlotte (Solcum) Cunningham.
Graduated from Carson City High School in 1971 & earned an associate degree from 
Lansing Community College.
Worked for the State of Michigan for 30 years, retiring in 2010 from the 
position as a Department Analyst.
Married to Steven W. Siegrist on April 3, 1993, having 30 years of marriage 
together.
Their combined families brought five children;Jennifer Churchill, Aaron 
Churchill, Erik (Sara) Siegrist, Rhandi (Eric) Nelson & Kristin (Marco) 
Gonzales-Vega.
Vickie was blessed with seven grandchildren; Abigail, Lucas, Mara, Desmond, 
Charlotte, Zoey & Weston.
Vicki was an active member of St.Michael Catholic Church in Grand Ledge,MI.
She enjoyed spending winters in Florida & time with family at the cottage at 
Lake George.Also reading, running, sewing & traveling to destinations such as 
Europe, South & Central America.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Darrell Cunningham.
Survived by her husband, Steven Siegrist, their five children & seven 
grandchildren, her sister, Michelle Cunningham & brothers, Marty & Curt 
Cunningham.
She was able to stay at home during her illness, with friends & family members 
support, her husband, Steve, caregivers Gloria, Emmy, Bobbie & hospice nurse 
Sarah, nurse aid Carrie, Chaplin Than, S.W Frank & Vicki's doctors, Timothy Izzo 
& Cara Leahy.
Visitation at St.Michaels Catholic Church, 345 Edwards St., Grand Ledge, on 
Monday, May 15, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. with rosary being prayed at 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 16, at St.Michael at 11:00 aa.m. 
with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.,Rev.Fr. James Eisele as celebrant.
Burial at StJoseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing, will follow the Mass with 
luncheon after.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Corso Care Hospice, or 
St.Michael Catholic Church.
