The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, December, 1995
Eugenia Signs, 78, of Greenville and formerly of Ionia died Wednesday, 
December 6, 1995 at her home.  She was born November 4, 1917 in Ionia, the 
daughter of Archie and Elsie (Summ) Boltz.  She married Harold Signs on August 
27, 1937 and was a life member of the First Baptist Church in Ionia.  

Surviving are daughter Norma Lee Harkins, of Greenville; grandchildren: Greg 
Kennedy, of Grattan, and Richelle Harkins, of Greenville.  She was preceded in 
death by her husband on December 3, 1993 and her daughter, Carolyn Signs, in 
1961.

Memorial funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 at the 
First  Baptist Church in Ionia with Rev. James Bennett officiating.  Interment 
will be in Saranac Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First 
Baptist Church Memorial Fund.  Arrangements were made by Myers Memorial Chapel 
in Ionia.
