BROTHER Leaves Friends and Relatives in this vicinity. Brothers and Sisters Attend funeral. Mr and Mrs.J.A. Hazen of Clarksville together with Mrs.Hazen's brother Robert Simkins and sister Miss Gertrude Simkins drove through to Hibbing, Minn., to attend the funeral of their brother Joseph Simkins held last week. Mr. Simkins was a man well known and of splendid service to his county, having held county office for several years. He also leaves many friends, relatives and acquaintances near Lake Odessa and Clarksville. OBITUARY Joseph Simkins, eldest son ofMr and Mrs Laurence Simkins, was born March 20, 1855, and departed this life at his farm home at Side Lake, Hibbing,Minn. on August 5, 1932. Three brothers, Robert, Fredrick and Harry Simkins, and two sisters Mr.J.A. Hazen and Miss Gertrude Simkins are left to mourn his departure. Mr. Simkins was a bridge builder and county road commissioner of St.Louis county for many years. At the time of his death he was supervisor of township of French, Minnesota. Burial was in Hibbing cemetery, Hibbing, Minn.
