Ionia Shopper's Guide - Jan. 27, 2007

Elizabeth “Betty” L. Simmons, of East Lansing passed away on January 19, 2007. 
She is survived by her son Mark (Ellen) Simmons of Bath, daughter, Minda (Kevin 
Dunn) Simmons of Show Low, Arizona, grandchildren; Nathan Benjamin, Elizabeth, 
Joseph, Jessica, Christianna, Elisa and Lauren, great-granddaughter, Ellyson 
Rhae, sister, Florence Olmstead, nieces, Debbie (Michael) Lorichon and Becky 
Dunham, and nephew, Durk Dunham. Funeral Services were held Monday, January 22 
at the First Congregational Church, Portland with Pastor Marilyn V. Danielson 
presiding. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. Donations may be made to 
Ingham County Medical Care Facility in memory of Betty Simmons.
