Aged Lady Passes

Funeral services will be held this afternoon for Mrs. Nellie Simmons, aged 76,
who passed away early on Tuesday morning at her farm home northwest of this
city.  Mrs. Simmons had suffered from a complication of illnesses, brought on by
a leg injury some time ago.  She was a long time, faithful member of the
Methodist church and was the widow of Albert Simmons, who died about 6 years
ago.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Norman Lee living north and west of the
city and Mrs. Howard de
Spelder of Greenville, and one grandchild, Norma Lee.  The services will be held
at the home of Dr. J.O. Randall of the Methodist church officiating.  Burial
will be in Otisco cemetery.
