Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 23 May 1947

Funeral services for Miss Jessie M. Simmons were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30
o’clock from Stone’s funeral home.  The Rev. Wayne Davis officiated.  Interment
was in Highland Park cemetery.  Mrs. Simmons died Tuesday afternoon at 3:30
o’clock at the Ionia Convalescent home.

Bearers were Burton L. Reed, Frank Ammon, Evert Heintzelman and Orin Stone.

Attending services from away were her sister, Mrs. Milo McNeil, and Mr. McNeil
of Portland.
