Sentinel Standard - Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1958

SARANAC- Mrs. Esther Simmons, 94, died December 30 at the Burns rest home at 
Ionia.

She was born March 28, 1864 in the Bloomer township, Montcalm county.

Surviving are one son, Dewey, two daughters, Mrs. Grant Ellison of 
Greenville, and Mrs. Emma Gunderman of Lake Odessa; 14 grandchildren and 20 
great-grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be January 1 at Morris funeral home at Saranac. The 
Rev. Howard E. Bull will conduct the service. The body of Mrs. Simmons will 
be placed in the Mausoleum at Saranac.
