MARY E. SIMMONS DIES AT CLARKSVILLE
Leaves Two Sons. Funeral Held at Clarksville Saturday Afternoon.

Mary E. Simmons, a resident for more than sixty year of Odessa township, died at 
the home of Mrs. Cora Spooner at Clarksville, Wednesday, Aug. 6. Mrs.Simmons has 
been in poor health for a long time, but was taken worse last Thanksgiving time 
and on March 7 was taken to the home of Mrs. Spooner where she was cared for. 
She was 74 years old the 7th of August.

Her husband died March 2, 1923, and five children also preceded her in death. 
There are two living children, Ray of clarksville, and Claud and a grandson at 
Lansing. She leaves also a brother George W.Lovell of Campbell and a sister 
Mrs.Nancy Cook of Chicago, and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at Clarksville Funeral home at 1:30 and at the Wesleyan 
Methodist church at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Burial will be at Lakeside, Lake Odessa.
