                                   SIMMONS

Daniel L.Simmons, age 56 of Vienna, GA died Friday, October 21, 2022. Dan was 
born on October 30, 1986 in Ionia,Michigan. He graduated from South Georgia 
College in Douglas, Ga with an Associate Degree in agricultural Science and went 
on to work with Sanders Farm Service. He was a faithful member of Vienna First 
Baptist Church of where he served as a Deacon, taught Sunday School and sang in 
the choir. Dan loved volunteering as a coach for the Dooly County Recreation 
department ad at Fullington Academy and his daughters softball teams.In is spare 
time, he enjoyed doing yard work, spending time with his family and supporting 
his favorite team, the Florida State Seminoles.Dan will be remembered for his 
infectious smile, dedication to his church and community and love for his 
family.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Simmons of Vienna; his children, Danielle Burke 
Simmons of Camilla, GA, Shelby Caroline Simmons of Mesa,AZ, Holly Peak (Robbie) 
of Vienna, Gq and Shawn David Sutton of Cordele, GA; his parents, Carl and Karen 
Simmons of Ionia, MI; is sisters, Rebecca Cannan (Rick) of Bella Vista, AR and 
Katy Simmons of Ionia, MI; his grandchild, Grayson Peak of Vienna, GA; several 
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held a 2 PM Friday, October 28 in Vienna First Baptist 
Church. With Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment followed in 
Pinehurst City Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny 
Thomas-Place, Memphis,TN 38105.
