Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed. Nov. 18, 1992

PEWAMO- Casper W. Simon, 72, of Pewamo, died Monday at his home.

He was born in Ionia County on May 16, 1920, the son of Anthony and Dora Cook 
Simon.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Catholic Order of Foresters.

He is survived by two brothers, Hilary of Westphalia and Joseph of Pewamo; and 
three sisters; Marian Wieber and Rita Pung of Lansing and Juliann Miller of 
Fowler.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Walter.

The family will be at St. Mary’s Chapel, Westphalia, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 
p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

The Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, at St. 
Mary’s Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the 
Rev. James Novak officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
